What is Ellie?
Ellie is your AI assistant to automate workflows and processes. It helps teams turn complex work into simple, plain-language requests and repeatable AI-powered workflows.
You can use Ellie to analyze documents, generate structured reports, summarize information, research topics, build plans, review data, draft recommendations, and automate repeatable tasks across different business functions.
For workforce-related teams, Ellie can support tasks such as building competency frameworks, diagnosing skills gaps, designing career pathways, creating job profiles, planning workforce distribution, and generating development actions.
Beyond workforce use cases, Ellie also supports tasks such as sales preparation, meeting summaries, project planning, document analysis, policy review, operational reporting, content generation, research, and decision support.
Instead of spending days manually reviewing documents, spreadsheets, notes, and business data, you can use Ellie to generate structured, editable outputs grounded in your organization's own context and uploaded files.
You can chat with Ellie, upload documents for context, generate insights, and build multi-step workflows that can be reused across teams or scheduled to run regularly.
Start with the Quickstart β it walks you from your first sign-in to your first generated result in about ten minutes.
The three pillarsβ
Ellie is built around three core features that work together: Chat, Workflows, and Files.
π¬ Chat β ask Ellie in plain languageβ
Use Chat to ask Ellie for support in natural language. For example, you can ask Ellie to:
- "Generate job profiles for a 200-person fintech company."
- "Summarize these meeting notes and recommend next steps."
Ellie selects the right specialist, does the work, and returns a result you can read, edit, and export.
Each conversation is saved as a chat, so you can return to it later, continue the discussion, or share it with colleagues.

βοΈ Workflows β run repeatable processes with multiple AI stepsβ
A workflow runs a structured sequence of steps β especially useful when the same work needs to be repeated across teams, departments, projects, or review cycles.
A workflow is a visual sequence of steps, called nodes, that guide Ellie through a process from start to finish. Each node performs a specific part of the work, such as researching a topic, analyzing documents, extracting information, generating recommendations, reviewing data, creating reports, or preparing follow-up actions.
Workflows are useful when the work requires more than a single chat response. For example, Ellie can first review source documents, then identify key findings, then generate recommendations, and finally produce a structured report or action plan.
You can build a workflow once, run it on demand, reuse it across teams, or schedule it to run regularly.
Each workflow run produces structured outputs called artifacts β reports, summaries, tables, recommendations, draft documents, action plans, or export-ready files.
π Files β ground Ellie in your organization's dataβ
Upload your own documents β rΓ©sumΓ©s, role descriptions, training material, spreadsheets β and JobKred reads them so Ellie can ground answers in your reality instead of generic knowledge. Files can be attached to a chat or added as Knowledge to a workflow, and imported straight from Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, S3 or SFTP.

How Chat, Workflows, and Files fit togetherβ
A typical first project uses all three features:
- Upload the documents you already have β Files.
- Ask Ellie to analyze or generate something from them β Chat.
- Save the result β and when you realize you'll need it again, rebuild it as a workflow so it runs as a series of steps or on a schedule β Workflows.

Your organization and your dataβ
Ellie is built for secure, organization-based usage.
Each organization works within its own Company environment, separated from other organizations. Within a Company, users can be grouped into Teams, and access can be managed based on what each user needs to view, edit, or share.
You can share individual chats, workflows, and files with named colleagues, while keeping your organization's data contained within your own workspace.
