Add context
Ellie can answer from general knowledge, but its best work happens when it's grounded in your data. The context panel on the right side of a chat lets you attach exactly what Ellie should use for your next message.
What you can attach
Frameworks
Select one of your competency frameworks (your Skills, Job Profiles, and Job Functions) so Ellie matches and reasons against your real taxonomy instead of generic roles.
Files
Attach uploaded documents — résumés, role descriptions, training material, spreadsheets — for Ellie to read. Supported types include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text, Markdown, and images, up to 20 MB each. You can upload on the spot or import from a connected source such as Google Drive or OneDrive.

Web Links (captures)
Attach a saved web page or note so Ellie can use its content as context.
JobKred Lithium
If your company has connected JobKred Lithium, a toggle lets you include your organization's enriched dataset for more relevant responses. This option only appears when the integration is configured.
Automatic context
If you don't attach anything explicitly, Ellie still does its best on its own: it automatically pulls in the most relevant files and captures from your workspace based on what you asked. Attaching context yourself simply gives you precise control when it matters.
Context applies to the message you're about to send. Set up the panel first, then send your request.
A worked example
Goal: a skills-gap analysis for your analytics team.
- In the context panel, select your Framework (so gaps are measured against your real job profiles).
- Under Files, attach the spreadsheet of your team's current skills.
- Send: "Analyze the skills gap for this team against their job profiles and recommend priorities."
Ellie now grounds the analysis in your framework and your team data, rather than generic assumptions.
