Manage chats & projects
Over time you'll build up many conversations. JobKred keeps them organized and easy to find.
The chats list
Your chats live in the list on the left. They're grouped into project folders, with anything unassigned kept in a Personal group. A chat still generating its title shows a brief loading placeholder.
- New chat — the + button starts a fresh conversation.
- Active projects only — a toggle to hide chats in completed or archived projects.
Organize with projects and tags
Open a chat's Edit option to:
- Rename it (Ellie auto-titles new chats, but you can override).
- Assign it to a project — group related work (for example, "Q3 Workforce Review").
- Add tags — lightweight labels for filtering and search.
- Set its status — active or inactive.
You can edit chats you own. Administrators can also edit chats across your company.
Browse a chat's history
Within a chat, messages load newest-first. Use Load Previous Messages to page back through a long conversation. Everything Ellie has produced — including exportable results — stays in the chat.
Share a chat
Chats can be shared with named colleagues in your company, the same way files and workflows are. Conversations others share with you appear under Shared with me.
If you run something in a shared chat, that usage is attributed to you. See Sharing and cost.
Workflow-linked chats
Some chats are tied to a workflow — you'll see a small workflow icon next to them ("Linked to workflow"). These chats are workflow-aware: Ellie can see the workflow's nodes, their inputs, and their status, so it can explain the workflow and help you fill it in.
A workflow-linked chat also shows a Workflow panel with a link back to the workflow and a list of the artifacts it has produced. Because these chats are part of a workflow, they generally can't be deleted while the link exists.
